Nigerian celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, has achieved another historic feat as Guinness World Records (GWR) officially recognised her for preparing the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice.
GWR confirmed the milestone in a post on its official X account, announcing that Baci, in collaboration with food brand Gino, cooked a total of 8,780 kilograms (19,356 pounds 9 ounces) of jollof rice. The record-breaking event took place in Victoria Island, Lagos.
This latest achievement adds to Baci’s growing list of culinary accomplishments, further cementing her status as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated chefs.
