The Federal government has announced that the sum of N800 billion have been recovered from looters since the beginning of the administration’s corruption fight.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed who made this known in a press briefing Today in Abuja said the government has equally convicted about 1,400 persons in the country.
Lai said the government is committed in the fight against corruption that the administration’s corruption fight is the best ever.
He said there are no sacred cows in the corruption fight, as anybody found wanting will be brought to book, irrespective of party affiliation.
