The Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, says it will obey the directive of its National leadership to embark on a protest today.
Secretary of the NLC, Matthew Olabe who disclosed this in a statement yesterday, said they cannot be working like elephants and be eating like ants.
He called on all members and other labour Organizations, to join them in the protest, which will Kick-start from the state secretariat at D/line in Port Harcourt.
The National leadership of labour, had yesterday, directed its members to emabark on a protest, over moves by the National Assembly to remove the national minimum wage from the exclusive to the concurrent legislative list.
