The Labour Party in Rivers State has sued twenty-seven House of Assembly members for defecting to the All Progressives Congress.
Gogo Wellington, Spokesperson of the party, Gogo Wellington, made this known in a statement Today.
According to him, the party is also asking the court to interpret some sections of the constitution bothering on defection.
He stated that the failure of INEC to conduct a by-election to fill the vacant seats prompted the decision.
