The Labour Party in Rivers State, has threatened to drag the state Independent Electoral Commission, to court if it includes the People’s Democratic Party in the forthcoming local government elections.
Chairman of the party in the state, Prince Reuben disclosed this in a statement, over the weekend.
He said the PDP, for failing to conduct its primaries within the stipulated time frame by the commission, is no longer eligible to participate in the election.
He accused the commission of doing everything it can to favor the PDP.
