Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organization, Enefaa Georgewill has described Governor, Nyesom Wike’s statement on soot as “unserious statement.”
Mr Georgewill, who made this known in a statement in Port Harcourt, said illegal oil activity and soot cannot be fought by arresting transporters of these products.
Gov. Wike had in a statement few days ago, declared some persons wanted in connection with illegal oil refining activity.
The RIVCSO Boss, called on the governor to arrest sponsors of the illegal activity, shut down their camps and create jobs for the teeming youths of the state.
He urged Rivers people to choose political leaders rightly in 2023 and go for the best irrespective of tribe and religion.
