Ace comedian, KObaba has announced plans to host a Free Eye Care Program in December, offering free eye tests, medical care, and 100 free eyeglasses to beneficiaries as part of his ongoing community support initiatives.
In a statement on Wednesday, the entertainer and youth advocate said the forthcoming programme aligns with his mission to uplift young people and improve community well-being. He noted that despite criticism from detractors, he remains focused on purposeful work rather than engaging with “naysayers.”
KObaba highlighted the impact of his various initiatives, including the KObaba Under-15 Football Tournament, TEDxDiobu, the KObaba Youth Convention, and the Talkaholic Talent Factory, describing them as evidence of the positive change his team continues to drive.
He revealed that over 70 percent of his monthly earnings are dedicated to charity, youth empowerment, and community development—a personal choice he says brings fulfilment and allows young people to access opportunities and earn with dignity.
According to him, those who have never contributed to the service of others are often the loudest critics, but the appreciation he receives from kind and generous supporters keeps him motivated.
“No one can discourage me from supporting, lifting, and raising others. My years on earth may be limited, but my impact will outlive me,” he said.
KObaba thanked everyone who contributed to the success of his projects this year and pledged to continue investing in initiatives that touch lives.
