Ace Nigerian comedian KO-Baba, has officially unveiled the performing acts and sponsors for the 2026 edition of his annual comedy event, “Mayor of PITAKWA.”
The unveiling took place during a press briefing in Port Harcourt, attended by sponsors, celebrities, and key players in the entertainment industry.
Speaking at the event, KO-Baba described Mayor of PITAKWA as more than just a comedy show, noting that the brand has evolved into a full entertainment experience built around a “4-H” concept — Humour, Hospitality, Eye-banding (a complete visual experience), Networking, and Hangout.
“The show has grown significantly over the years. Our audience footprint is over 5,000 people, and the hall is always filled to capacity. Last year, we even created an outdoor extension with a DJ setup for thousands of additional guests who could not get into the main hall. That’s the beauty of how far this brand has grown,” he said.

He described the organizations as companies deeply committed to corporate social responsibility and societal development.
“Sponsorship for us is not just about products; it is about financial commitment and social capital. Our headline sponsors handle a significant portion of the project cost and bring value beyond finances,” he said.
