The Nigerian Army says troops will remain in the creeks in Delta State until those behind the killing of 17 soldiers are brought to book.
Major General Jamal Abdussalam made this known when the Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Samuel Ogbuku paid him a condolence visit at the Division’s Headquarters in Port Harcourt.
He assured the team that troops will be professional in ensuring those behind the incident are nabbed and stolen weapons recovered.
He urged officers to be firm, strong, decisive and professional in the cause of the operations in the general area.
