The Federal Government says over 1,000 kidnap victims have been rescued with no ransom paid.
The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, when he received 22 students and staff of the Federal University of Gusau, Zamfara State, rescued on Sunday.
He revealed that the Tinubu-led administration was strengthening law enforcement and security measures to prevent these abductions and strengthen physical security across vulnerable communities.
