The Executive Chairman of Khana LGA Dr. Thomas Bariere has uncovered a secret hideout regularly used by unidentified individuals to hold meetings and illegal gatherings in Bori.
Hon. Bariere in a chat with journalists during the raid said he got a distress call while at a GDI Sensitization Programme in Gokana that some unidentified persons are trooping into an abandoned property opposite the Bori Police station to hold secret meeting.
According to him, he immediately mobilized security operatives to disrupt the gathering.
He stated that it is surprising that people could gather in an abandoned property with such dilapidated facility in guise of meeting.
He explained that his administration has done a lot to ensure that the people of he area are secured.
He also said that security operatives have been directed to launch a full scale investigation into the activities carried out in the identified hideout.
