Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IOPB), Nnamdi Kanu has been remanded in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), till November 10, 2021 when trial is expected to resume.
Justice Binta Nyako, the presiding judge, remanded Kanu after his legal team had prayed the court to move him to the Abuja prison facility.
The IPOB leader was arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja on a seven-count charge, on Thursday.
Earlier, he pleaded not guilty to the charges bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism.
