An Eyewitness has debunked reports making the rounds that only two persons died in the accident involving two vehicles along the Emouha – Kalabari Road at the weekend.
The man who pleaded anonymity in a chat with us, said he was on his way to Buguma when the two vehicles on top speed collided.
According to him, only one person was still alive after the accident, while other passengers died on the spot including a child who was burnt beyond recognition.
He said, he was amongst those that called for help, adding that it is shocking to hear that only two persons lost their lives.
He called on journalists to always investigate properly before disseminating information.
Online Media platform Kalabari TV had posted a video of the incident on Facebook.
Several reports yesterday, claimed that two persons lost their lives in the road mishap.
The Police is yet to react to the incident.
