The Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has lauded the NSCDC Commandant General for deploying an experienced and operational Commandant to the state.
The NSCDC said this in a statement after its visit to the governor at the weekend.
It said, the governor described the deployment as timely and charged the new commandant to justify his deployment through the fight against crude oil theft, most especially as the lead agency in the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure of both federal and the state.
