The Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Osogbo has on Friday nullified the electoral victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke and declared Adegboyega Oyetola as the rightful winner of the Osun State governorship election held last year.
In a split ruling of 2:1, the majority judgement which was read by the chairman of the panel, Honorable Justice Tertse Kume said Oyetola scored the majority lawful votes of 314,931 against Adeleke’s 219,666.
He ordered INEC to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Senator Ademola Adeleke and issue same to former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
