The Senate on Tuesday approved the appointment of former Rivers East Senator, Magnus Abe, as Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
In the same session, Sunday Adebayo and Paul Yaro were also confirmed as non-executive commissioners of the commission.
Abe’s confirmation comes after his screening by the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) on March 16.
