The Department of State Security has arrested the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
Emefiele was arrested shortly after he was suspended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the president, Emefiele was suspended due to the ongoing investigation of his office and the planned reforms in the financial sector of the economy.
