Construction giant Julius Berger has announced the successful completion of all superstructures on the critical bridges connecting the mainland to Bonny Island, a major milestone in the ongoing Bodo-Bonny Road project.
The 39-kilometre road and bridge network, which represents the first-ever road link between Bonny Island and the rest of Rivers State, is being jointly financed by the Federal Government of Nigeria and Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG).
Constructed through difficult swamp terrain and tidal creeks, the project is seen as a symbol of engineering excellence and a significant step toward improved infrastructure, sustainable development, and regional integration in the Niger Delta.
