A group known as ‘Concerned Youths of Emohua’ has called on the chairman of Emohua Council, Hon. Chidi Lloyd to resign with immediate effect over comments that suspected cultist – Nwanburoke Nwosu also known as Abiotu was granted pardon by the Chief Judge of Rivers State – Simeon Amadi.
Chairman of the group – Chizi Enyi in a statement on Friday said it is unfortunate that even after the judiciary had insisted that Abiotu was not freed during its jail delivery exercise, Hon. Lloyd still went on air to make such allegations.
He called on the council chairman to within 24hrs apologise to the judiciary and the people of Emohua.
He also said it is embarrassing that Hon. Lloyd who is a lawyer could not get his facts straight before making statements, adding that he is unfit to lead the council
