Embattled former MD of NDDC, Joy Nunieh has revealed that the ongoing forensic audit at the commission is a scam.
Nunieh made this known while appearing before the House of Representatives committee investigating the mismanagement of funds at the commission Today, via zoom.
The former MD, who is currently taking refuge at Government House Port Harcourt challenged Akpabio to provide approved auditors investigating the operations at the commission to prove that the forensic audit is real.
Nunieh stated that she has never received money from anybody since she was with the commission. Joy also accused the management and staff of the commission of being responsible for the underdevelopment of the Niger Delta region.
The Ex-MD, furthermore noted that she has secured a court injunction preventing the police from arresting her.
