The Joint Health Sector Union (JOHESU) has suspended its seven-day-old warning strike by directing its members across the country to resume work today, Monday 21, 2020.
Chairman of the union, Biobelemoye Josiah made this known in a statement yesterday, after a meeting of the National Executive Council of the union.
Josiah said the strike was suspended in order to sustain the country’s public health system and not because its demands have been met by the federal government.
