The Japanese Government has announced that all residents of the country will get free coronavirus vaccine. This is because it has ordered over 60 million vaccines from the pharmaceutical company, Pfizer.
The country’s upper parliament passed a bill to that effect on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in a bid to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
The bill stipulates that the government will cover all vaccine costs for the country’s 126 million residents.
The country, which is doing everything possible to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has recorded well over 2100 deaths.
