The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the sale of application forms for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) will commence on January 26.
The board disclosed the date as part of preparations for the upcoming admission cycle across the country.
In a statement, JAMB clarified that eligibility for admission will be determined by age, stressing that only candidates who will be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, will be considered.
The UTME remains the mandatory entrance examination for candidates seeking admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria.
