The Rivers State Police Command says Amb. Sobomabo Jackrich was arrested and not abducted as widely reported.
Spokesperson of the command, Grace Koko in a statement on Monday said Jackrich was arrested by another security outfit on Monday morning.
According to her, two person lost their lives during the operation.
Recall that an aide to Jackrich had raised an alarm that his boss was whisked away by heavily armed men on Monday.
