The Ijaw Youth Council IYC has frowned at the alleged invasion of Egbomutoru 2 community in Bayelsa State by the military.
The Youths are also calling on the Nigerian Military to comply with the Rules of Engagement in its investigation into the circumstances that led to the gruesome murder of 16 soldiers in Okuama Community in Delta State.
President of IYC, ALAYE TARI THEOPHILUS gave this during a press briefing yesterday
He said Ijaws are still in shock over the alleged military attack and killing of suspected innocent citizens in Egbomutoru 2 community in Bayelsa State.
the IYC president ALAYE TARI-THEOPHILUS who also condemned the killing of 16 Soldiers in Delta State further appealed to the Nigerian Military to be professional while they go about their operations in the Niger Delta Region.
