Nigeria’s Central Bank Governor, Olayemi Cardo has revealed that it is not the CBN’s intention to defend the naira.
Cardoso mentioned this at the “Spring Meetings”, An Economic conference put up by the International monetary fund, IMF.
He further added that it’s not the intention of the CBN to further intervene in any other financial activities aside from monetary policies.
