Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that his administration would now begin the empowerment of Rivers people.
The governor, disclosed this in a statement during the commissioning of the Oro-Abali flyover in Port Harcourt, Today.
Wike, who described the programme as “stomach infrastructure,” said people will be empowered in all wards of the state.
The governor, also stated that his administration has one more project to do in Port Harcourt, before he leaves office next year.
According to him, the project is the dualization of illoabuchi street in Diobu Port Harcourt, noting that the essence is to ease traffic in the area.
