The Chairman of Okirika Local Government Area, Kuro Tobins has said that only a four-year-old girl lost her life from the collapsed Isaka jetty on Saturday.
Kuro in an interview yestreday, also said all persons that fell into the river were rescued by local divers.
He dismissed the statement by a local boat driver that two more bodies were earlier discovered and that more bodies are still in the river.
According to Hon Tobins, he rushed to the scene immediately he received the news of the incident.
He noted that the corpse of the little girl was discovered the following day and handed over to the family.
