The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a threat against Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, vowing to hunt him down and kill him.
In a message published on Sepah News, the group’s official website, the IRGC declared, “If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force.”
The statement followed widespread rumours circulating on social media over the weekend claiming that Netanyahu had been killed. However, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dismissed the reports, while Israeli authorities released counter statements to debunk the claim.
The tension comes as Iran continues to retaliate over the killing of its Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
On February 28, 2026, Israel and the United States reportedly carried out surprise airstrikes on several locations across Iran, resulting in the death of Khamenei and several other senior Iranian officials.
In response, Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting Israel, U.S. military bases, and allied nations in the region, escalating hostilities between the sides.
The ongoing confrontation has led to casualties on both sides and triggered global economic concerns, with oil prices surging amid fears of a prolonged conflict.
