The Rivers State Police Command has said that suspected members of the proscribed indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), are responsible for the attack on the church pastored by the father of Governor Nyesom Wike.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP. Nnamdi Omoni made this known in a statement after the Police arrested some of the suspects.
He said the three persons arrested in connection with the incident are helping the police with the investigation.
Omoni equally noted that the anti-bomb unit of the force had earlier arrived at the scene to sweep it.
