The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, has threatened to halt the supply of petroleum products to its Eastern zone from Monday.
National President of the association, Alhaji Sanusi Fari in a statement said the move is to protest the alleged harassment of members by the Police.
The Eastern zone comprises, Port Harcourt, Aba, Enugu, Makurdi and Calabar.
He accused the Police of forcefully and unlawfully evicting one of its elected executive from the Port Harcourt depot.
Sanusi, also directed the Chairman of the zone to reach out to the chairmen of the affected states for compliance.
