The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, after a one-day strike has resumed the distribution of products in Rivers State and four other states.

Sanusi Fari, National President of IPMAN, disclosed this in a statement in Awka on Tuesday.

Sanusi, had directed members of the association at the depot within the Eastern zone to suspend distribution of petroleum products.

This was over alleged intimidation and harassment of its members by the Police.

IPMAN, had said the strike would only be called off after its leadership at the Port Harcourt depot, which was forcefully sacked was retored.

It is yet to be known if the executives were recalled before they decided to end the strike.
