The Rivers State Chapter of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has explained the cause of what it described as “temporary fuel scarcity” in the state.
The group in a statement today, said fuel is scarce in the state, due to the fact that out of the 19 Depot in Port Harcourt, only two are currently supplying PMS to fuel stations.
But, it said the issue will soon be a thing of the past as they are doing everything possible to resolve the matter.
“Out of the 19 depot in PH only 2 is supplying PMS to stations but dont worry, it soon be over,” it said.
Many petro filling stations in the city have for some days refused to sell PMS to customers.
