The Inter Party Advisory Council in Rivers state has adopted Gov. Sim Fubara as its grand patron and leader.
IPAC made this known when they visited the governor at Government House, Port Harcourt, Today.
The group also passed a vote of confidence on gim and vowed to stand by him to succeed.
“Your Excellency, we heartily congratulate you on the Supreme Court judgment which affirmed your election at the polls. To this end, we have passed a vote of confidence on His Excellency and assure you of our collective and individual support to succeed now and in the future in the course of your administration. Like Frantz Fanon said: ‘We are nothing on earth if we are not in the first place the slaves of a cause, the cause of the people, the cause of justice and liberty.’
“Having keenly followed your administration’s human and infrastructural development agenda since its inauguration on May 29th, 2023, we have no reason to doubt His Excellency’s genuine intentions to improve the lot of Rivers’ people. Do not be distracted because Rivers’ people are with you. Your resilience is our courage.”
“Today, we have unanimously endorsed you as our Grand Patron and leader. Accept our special presentations in this regard,” the group said.
