The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED, says the intermittent outages experienced within its franchise area is due to the reduced load allocation from the national grid.
The Company, disclosed this in a statement on its official Twitter handle on Friday.
It assured that all stakeholders are working tirelessly to improve the situation and that the available load will be optimally utilized for equitable distribution.
It also apologized for the inconveniences caused by the anomaly, adding that regular power supply would be restored as soon as allocation improves.
