Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, is currently meeting with heads of security agencies and other relevant stakeholders in the FCT following the worsening security situation in the nation’s capital.
Sources say, Wike assured that the safety of residents of the FCT is his top priority, and that their safety is guaranteed while speaking at the meeting.
He said the government was working to support security agents with all what they need to tackle insecurity.
This follows incidents of kidnapping in the FCT, including the killing of a 13-year-old Secondary School Student over failure to meet deadline of ransom payment.
