Former Attorney General of Rivers State and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Worgu Boms has reacted to the defection of top members of the party to the People’s Democratic Party, in the state.

Some members of the party which includes; Hon. Davies Ikanya, Chidi Lloyd, Samson Parker, Osa Uchencu, Igo Aguma and others recently announced their defection to the PDP.

Boms in a statement in Port Harcourt, on Saturday, said insincerity borne out of incompetence has killed the Rivers APC.

He said the Amaechi group was always accusing them of working with Gov. Wike, but the defection of some party members, who were his strong allies has simply revealed the truth.

“…These were people in Amaechi’s political bedroom, now in Wike’s political household as major stakeholders,” he said.

“The Amaechi group was always accusing us of working with Wike. So now how far? Time reveals many things,” Boms added.
