Some elders in Rivers State have spoken highly of the leadership of Governor Wike, commending him for consistent delivery of vital projects and achievements. This is despite the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
The elder statesmen recalled how Gov. Wike in his first four years in office, united warring factions in the state while carrying out massive infrastructural development. They noted that without any lapse, government has remained efficient under his leadership, with sectorial performances and services provided by strategic institutions.
One of the elder statesmen, Emma Anyanwu commended Gov. Wike for various projects by his administration in Etche LGA. Wike reconnected Etche local government area by road to Port Harcourt with the construction of Chokocho – Rumuokwurushi Road
And Chokocho-Ozuzu Road that were not motorable, he asserted. He said the people of the LGA are indebted to the Governor.
Chairman of Greater Port Harcourt Development Authority, Chief Ferdinand Alabaraba,on his part said “everybody within the state can attest to the fact that construction of critical road projects and the three flyovers bridges have continued despite the Covid-19 pandemic.” He commended the governor for the continuation of the projects and others in the state.
Senior advocate of Nigeria, Chief Onueze Okocha in his remark called on residents to be patient as the overnor is on course to deliver more good tidings.
