The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, says Certificate of Return willl be issued to President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice Kashim Shettima by 3:00pm in Abuja Today.
Chairman of INEC, Mahmod Yakubu made this known in a statement after declaring Tinubu as winner of the election.
According to him, a statement will be issued later concerning certificates of return for winners of the National Assembly elections.
Meanwhile, the INEC boss has urged parties not satisfied with the process to challenge the outcome in court.
The PDP and LP parties have called for cancellation of the elections citing electoral fraud. Ifeanyi Okowa and Datti Baba-Ahmed made the call on behalf of both parties yesterday.
