The Rivers State Government says the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), should learn how to conduct violence free elections from the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission.
Special Adviser to Governor Wike on Schools and Sports Adebitoye Okiri in a statement yesterday, said the electotal umpire worked closely with security agencies to achieve a peaceful poll.
Okiri said the process was free, fair and credible, as he commended the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, for a peaceful and Successful poll.
He also said the Governor, should be commended for providing an enabling environment for political parties to participate in the election.
He advised winners of the election to be magnanimous in victory and carry everyone along.
