The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Rivers State says a total of 34,233 persons have so far registered in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Geraldine Ekeleno, disclosed this in a statement, noting that the figure represents an improvement compared to previous weeks.
Ekeleno urged eligible residents of the state who are yet to register to take advantage of the ongoing exercise, emphasizing that voter registration remains a crucial step in ensuring participation in the electoral process.
