The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Andoni Local Government Council, Hon. Reginald Ekaan, says he will continue to prioritize the welfare of all citizens of Andoni while he holds sway as Chairman of the council.

Andoni Local Government Council made this known in a statement.
According to him, Ekaan stated this while handing over 10,000 exercise books to all junior and senior secondary schools in Andoni as part of activities marking the 64th independence celebration of Nigeria.
He said, the gesture is aimed at assisting students to reduce the burden on their parents and to encourage the education of every child in Andoni.
The books are expected to be distributed on 1st October, 2024, to all public schools across Andoni Local Government Area.
