Former Rivers State Commissioner for Energy and Natural Resources, Dr Peter Medee has described members of the Martin Amaewhule-led lawmakers as committee of friends following impeachment threats to Gov. Sim Fubara.
Medee in a statement at the weekend urged the state governor to ignore the 27 lawmakers and focus on developing the state
According to him, the Assembly is standing on illegality and lacks the power to impeach the governor.
He urged Rivers people to stand by the governor in his quest to transform the state.
