Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido seems to have given up on the legal battle with his baby mama, Sophia requesting for joint custody and unhindered access to his daughter Imade.
Recall that Davido had filed the motion through his lawyers, requesting joint custody of Imade at the Lagos State High Court on April 17, 2024.
However (Sophia Momodu) in a 100-paragraph counter-affidavit filed Today, stated that their daughter “is a minor (9 years old) and as her mother, she has stayed with her all her life and has been responsible for her welfare, upkeep, and well-being.
Shortly after Sophia’s affidavit Davido in a statement on X said, “Imade, my daughter will grow up to find out I fought for her, as for now, you can have her.”
