A Federal High Court sitting in Port Jarcourt has awarded seventy-five million naira damages against the Police over the death of auto mechanic Chima Ikwunado.
Justice, Mark who delivered judgement on the civil matter Today, also granted all other demands by lawyers to Chima Ikwunado.
Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill disclosed this in a statement Today.
Chima Ikwunado, was arrested, detained, extorted and tortured to death by men of the Nigerian Police Force in Rivers State. He was arrested alongside four of his friends.
