Ex-police officers responsible for the murder Chima Ikwunado have today been arraigned in court. They were also brought forward to account for the attempted murder of Ifeanyi Onyekwere and unlawful assault against Ogbonna Victor, Ifeanyi Osuji and Osaze Friday.
Chief Magistrate Promise Iroanya who presided over the case, however, said his court has no jurisdiction to hear the charges brought against the accused persons. He, therefore, referred them to the Director of Public Prosecution for further advise. The case has now been adjourned to 18 September, 2020.
