Obio/Akpor Chairman Appoints Widows of Fallen Soldiers as Special Assistants, Donates ₦3 Million for Upkeep

The Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Amb. Ihunwo Chijioke, has appointed widows of soldiers from the area who died in the line of duty as Special Assistants. This gesture was made in honor of the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

In addition to the appointments, the chairman donated ₦3 million to support the monthly upkeep of the widows, acknowledging their sacrifices and expressing solidarity with the families of the fallen heroes.
