The Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area in Rivers State, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, has launched a program to provide free enrollment and Computer-Based Test (CBT) classes for students preparing for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.
Media aide to the chairman, Amadi Eze in a statement said the initiative is inclusive, extending its benefits to both indigenes and non-indigenes residing or studying in Obio/Akpor.
He said forms for participation can be obtained at the office of the Supervisor for Education, Barr. Abigail Chiorlu-Ejukwa, at the Obio/Akpor Council Secretariat in Rumuodumaya.
He added that by offering free JAMB enrollment and preparatory classes, the chairman seeks to bridge educational gaps and create opportunities for students to excel in their academic pursuits.
