Factional chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Hon. Igo Aguma has accused the Minister of Transportation and leader of the party, Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi of deliberately denying the party the opportunity of appearing on the ballot papers during the last elections.
Aguma who disclosed this in a statement in Port Harcourt yesterday said he remains the authentic ccting chairman of the party in the state.
He said as the chairman of the party in the state, he will do everything within his powers to ensure that the party appears on the ballot in the forthcoming local government elections in the state next year.
He called on party faithfulls in the state not to be perturbed by the recent developments, as he would ensure that justice is served on every matter bedeviling the party in the state.
He also accused Amaechi of godfatherism and being behind the problems rocking the party in the state.
