The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, has prohibited all signing-out parties, vehicle parades, and related activities on campus as final-year students sit for their examinations.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Prof. Philemon W. Iyagba, said the decision was prompted by reports of cult-related activities threatening peace on campus.
The university further directed that no vehicles will be allowed into the campus on Thursday, September 18, and Friday, September 19, 2025.
Management urged students to concentrate on their examinations and warned that violators of the directive would face disciplinary measures.
